The first Coyote Ugly Saloon opened in January 27, 1993, in New York City, the second in Las Vegas as franchise operation in 2001. A new company-owned bar opened in New Orleans in 2002, and other locations in San Antonio, Texas; Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; and a franchised location in Destin, Florida in 2003. Later until 2009, Coyote Ugly Saloon opened corporate and franchise locations in San Antonio, Austin, Nashville, Memphis. In 2009, Coyote Ugly began their International Franchise and opened their first franchised bar abroad in Moscow, Russia and another in Koblenz, Germany. Following the Moscow opening, the franchisees opened locations in other Russian cities e.g. St. Petersberg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and Sochi. The brand is in expansion mode internationally that includes Kyrgyzstan, UK, Japan and other destinations as Coyote Ugly Saloon is focusing on aggressive Global Expansion in non-US Territories.
